Library
Libraries give people the opportunity to explore various new theories, experience new ideas, take one person on a wonderful journey, and increase knowledge. Bibliophile people consider the library as their temple. A school library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today’s information and knowledge-based society.
Not to remain confines to books, sports, and other curricular activities. Our school has a spacious and well-stocked library. A code of conduct is followed to enable the students to have easy and smooth access to academic resources. The school subscribes to various journals, periodicals, daily newspapers, and magazines to inculcate the habit of reading in students as well as teachers.
Laboratory
Lawrence has world-class laboratories that are equipped with the latest and modern facilities. Every year, portions of old labs are completely renovated and refurbished with the latest equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
Keeping in true with modern time Lawrence Academy ensures that practical knowledge is placed on an equal footing with theoretical knowledge for the all-round development of the students. Students are always motivated to perceive learning as fun-filled, analytical, practical, and exciting. For this purpose, the school has laboratories in numerous disciplines that provide in depth knowledge to its pupils. The students-friendly atmosphere in these laboratories helps to enrich the overall personality of the students through motivation and reinforcement.
PlayGround
Our school prepares students to face a rapidly changing world with confidence and a sense of responsibility to make the world a better place. We provide an adequate environment, infrastructure to pursue sports activities and provide playing opportunities to a wide range of students regardless of gender or cultural backgrounds. We have Basketball, Hockey, Volleyball, Football, and Cricket court in our school. Except for these courts, we also have other indoor and outdoor sports playgrounds.
Transport
Student’s safety is our prime responsibility. A school transport facility is provided to students in certain areas on demand. Bus fees are payable in advance along with tuition fees. For withdrawal from the bus service, three months’ notice should be given by the parents to school. Safe transport with speed control and one attendant in each bus is available. The transport facility can be withdrawn in case of rules violation, fighting, and ill-treating other students.
Curriculum
The curriculum in this stage is designed to encourage higher-order thinking, reasoning, analytical and logical applications. The social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of students are addressed in this crucial period of transition from childhood to adulthood.
The school has a rich assortment of co-curricular activities. We stage in-house plays, music, dance, and other activities. Participation in co-curricular and sporting activities takes equal importance alongside academic performance. The co-curricular activities include field trips, cultural events, environmental and social service projects, and campaigns. The students are graded regularly on the basis of participation and performance in-class activities.
